Good morning ladies, and welcoe to day 20 of the cover me fast!
Have you ever experienced a time where you felt as thought you were not good enough to pick back up, and come back to God?
Below is some scriptures that I want you to reflect on, and apply to your life as you are returning to ministry.
Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
Hosea 6:1“Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.7 Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.
Jeremiah 17:1414 Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.
Jeremiah 29:1111 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Jeremiah 30:1717 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.’
Job 42:1010 After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.
1 John 5:44 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
1 Peter 5:1010 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
John 14:11 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
Mark 11:2424 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Matthew 6:3333 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Psalm 51:1212 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
Zechariah 9:1212 Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.
Psalm 71:20-2120 Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. 21 You will increase my honor and comfort me once more.
Joel 2:25-2625 “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm — my great army that I sent among you. 26 You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed.
2 Corinthians 13:9-119 We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is that you may be fully restored. 10 This is why I write these things when I am absent, that when I come I may not have to be harsh in my use of authority—the authority the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down. 11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
Acts 3:19-2119 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20 and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. 21 Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.
Psalm 23: 1-61 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
