    Who Are You Following?

    Who Are You Following?

There is a truth that rings so true in the world of believers, and this is if God is for us who can be against us? Romans 8:31

But for the ones wandering around uncovered what do they turn to for protection? When I think about this, and think about the times that I was caught out there undressed without the armor of God I was pretty frightened more than I would like to admit.

I thought I ran the show, and I thought I would be ready for God on my own terms until one day He reintroduces Himself to me, and the doors of my heart were not opened to Him all the way. Why?

Because there is a huge responsibility when it comes to following Jesus. You have to lay aside every weight, and anything that would try to deter you from following Him with your whole heart. sounds heard, doesn’t it?

I did want to call out to Him, and treat Him as though he was a part-time lover, but isn’t that how most of us do Him sometimes when we neglect to pick up our bibles throughout the week, and as soon as Sunday morning comes we hop up to go to church, shout, cry until our mascara is all on our shirts, etc.

Well after that day sometime had passed by, and I found myself in a world of trouble to the point where I needed God to show up, and rescue me. How many of you ever been there before in your life?

But when it is all said, and done what do you do? Do you head back home the same way that you walked in the church door, or do you surrender it all to God?

See God is no respect of person, and He desires Florida you to come to Him just as you are, and He will cleanse you from the inside out.

So my prayer for you tonight is that you stop going around being uncovered, and become acquainted with God in all areas of your life so that you can know him in the way that He created you to know Him.

Tonight’s focus scripture is Psalms 110

Hello! My name is Jereè and I began this BLOG to share my journey as a Woman unapologetically as I start the process of mending the pieces of my broken life with God's help by sharing my life #UnMended while  Baring the deepest parts of myself has been very hard, but is so worth it in the end to see the woman I'll become. So Cheers to healing, and to celebrating my freedon as a woman, in love, in life, and in faith. May you also grow from what I've grown from. Xo Jereè

Mending the vow isn’t an easy task. It’s pressure, it’s finding the grit to find the grace in each area of your life to forgive, to heal, and to grow daily.
