Episode #002 Finding My Way Back

Episode #002 Finding My Way Back

The affects of the affair caused me to go into a deep depression, and I was stuck there more a matter of nine months, and I did not know if I was going to survive not even thinking about if my marriage was going to surb=vive.

Word to the wise of the cheating spouse:

Because infidelity to so difficult and truly exhausting for a betrayed spouse to process, you must take care of yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically. This will include allowing yourself to grieve without wallowing, to get enough sleep, to eat healthy meals, to get enough exercise, and maybe even work with a helping professional to process the pain.

Dealing with the aftermath of infidelity is also exhausting for a straying spouse who wants to save their marriage. In addition to taking full responsibility for your choice of being unfaithful, you must also take good care of yourself because your other responsibility is to be there for your spouse.

Silence wrecked our marriage. Unhealed wombs divided us. Unkept vows separated us. Hello! My name is Jereè and I began this BLOG to share my journey as a wife as I start the process of mending the pieces of my broken marriage with God’s help by sharing my life #UnMended. God inspired the name “Mend The Vow” which means repair (something that is broken or damaged)  Relationship with God and with our husbands. It is based on the Scripture in 2 Chronicles 24:12. My hope is to encourage other wives in the world who are, have been separated, and want to mend their marriage back together.

Episode 001: Growing Pains

Episode 001: Growing Pains

In the early stages of my mariage I really did not understand what it meant to be a wife let alone how to treate my husband. I unleashed everything I felt from past pain that was not healed, and which bled into the heart of my marriage.

My intentions were not at all in the right place like I had always thought they were, and as a result my baggage begun to unpack itself, and started to pour itself on my husband. I did a lot of damage to my marriage, and as a result there were fights, words that hurt which plays sometimes over in my mind.

My object is to share my truth in order to get others to wake up, and deal with the damaged parts of their marriage in drder for the repairing to begin. I pray that is message blesses you to confront your past, and deal with your emotional issues both from your past, and in your marriage.
