Today were are going to discuss the exchange of God’s Glory
Today’s devotion is based on Jeremiah 2:11
There are some things that we can knowingly or unknowingly do that will put things before God that will cause His glory to be removed from our lives. God is a jealous God, and He will not have anything else placed in front of Him.
Have there been things in your life in which you have placed above God?
Have you tried to get back to the foundation of your life which is anchored in Christ?
Do you ever feel like you’ve been away for so long that you aren’t really worthy to return back to God?
If you have answered honestly with a sincere heart than I can totally understand where you are coming from because I have been in those very shoes of doubting, and unwilling to make the first move to return to God because of feeling unworthy of His glory.
Things you must remember
God is a forgiving God, and he loves you but you also have to remember that God will only allows His chosen to go so far out there until he casts a net of recovery to safely return you to Him . There is nothing like finding forgiveness in the arms of the Father, and there is nothing like admitting to Him your fears, and or your concerns. Trusting that God will welcome you back into His fold is always a good thing to be excited about.
What caused to stray?
Sometimes life, and its unbalance can lead to craziness in your life which will cause you to fumble the ball man times.
Are you in this cycle currently battling life, and not seeking God on what to do?
There has been many times in my life recently where I just refuse to go deeper because I have grown weary of the outcome, but I have also noticed that when I pour in and pray about all that I am facing it give me more strength, and clarity for all things in my life.
The choice to come home
while the choice has already been made, and the will to stay further away from God has been evident in the way that you are choosing to live distant from God is, in fact, your choice, and your choice alone. What I recommend is if you are going through tough times right now do not let this be the reason just to come back home, because guess what? Returning back home to God will not eliminate all that you are going through in your life right now. God desires you to open up your heart to Him because you love Him not for what he can do for you. Make the choice to return to God because you miss Him, and because you desire to live for him whether you are in a not so good space in you’re life or whether you are in the best space of your life.
Go further in God
no matter how long the road to gets make a vow to go deeper into your relationship with God. The more you spend time in the presence of God the more power you get in the spirit to illuminate the pathway to shine deeper in the dark places of this world. God does not place anything on you that you can not bare He will equip you with everything you need to see you through it all.
Confront what you can not conform
The battles of attact does not always come from the enemy or from God but it is within yourself. if you are finding that things in your life aren’t going so well, and that you keep climbinb a uphill battle that does not look like it is coming to a victory win anytime soon then you might be fighting something internal that you need to face within yourself.
I pray that this devotional has given you some insight on why it is important to keep your relationship with God at the center of your life.
Silence wrecked our marriage. Unhealed wounds divided us. Unkept vows separated us. Hello! My name is Jereè and I began this BLOG to share my journey as a wife as I start the process of mending the pieces of my broken marriage with God’s help by sharing my life #UnMended. God inspired the name “Mend The Vow” which means repair (something that is broken or damaged) Relationship with God and with our husbands. It is based on the Scripture in 2 Chronicles 24:12. My hope is to encourage other wives in the world who are, have been separated, and want to mend their marriage back together.
