The faith To Stand For My Marriage.
The act in faith that I am standing in concerning my marriage did not come over night I had to fight in the spirit to get to this place, and I had to really stay before God in fasting; and constant prayer building up my faith to a new level that it’s never been before.
No matter the situation, keep faith in God, believe in God, trust God and thy ways, and everything will work out in the end for the good.
I had to go on a mission within myself I was determined to stand in faith regardless of what my situation in my marriage looked liked. See what faith does is get the attention of God, but it is by your faith that starts the work in the spiritual realm, and you have to be sold out in what you are believing God for in your faith.
I went to church, and I served others that was facing similarities as me concerning their marriage. I connected with people that told me somethings, and which made me think of my own situation. This made me level up in my prayer time, in my having more faith than I could stand to encounter.
You Have To Have A Servants Heart Towards Your Spouse Even When Your Separated!
For the most part I see my husband about once or twice a week, but if he calls and is in need of my help hands down i am having a willing yes in my spirit, because he is still my husband, and my vows has not changed towards him. His needs are still the needs that I desire to meet as his wife.
There Will Be Time In Prayer!
When things happened in my marriage I would never focus on what to pray for I would just ask God to fix it, and if He did or not I would not go to God about the same thing in prayer. “What a mistake I made.” In this season of my marriage I am fiercely committed to not just giving God the praise for restoration in my own marriage, but i am also being intentional in my prayer time in praying for other couples that are facing the same things in their marriage as I am.
Being Intentional About What To Pray For Concerning My Marriage!
So! I had ro let somethings bleed out of myself, before I went to God concerning my husband. I had to pray that God would take out the filthy things that were hidden inside of me in order for me to pray earnestly for my marriage. When I was able to get me straight with God this is when I hit the ground running in my prayer time for my marriage, and for God to have his way concerning my husband.
1. I know that God place my husband in my life, but what I didnt know what the enemy tricked my husband into leaving the home. See if satan can cause the head to leave the household that he has won; or so he thinks he did.
- You have to ask God to teach you how to war in the spiritual realm concerning your husband.
- You have to realize that this is not a natural battl for your marriage.
- you have to bare it, and not whimper out.
These are the things that I had to learn in order to build tough skin in facing these prayer session in seeking God to restore my marriage.
When God Commissioned You To Stand Any How!
There has been things that has taken place where you think I would cry, feel depressed, and or just would want to throw in the towel, and that sound still voice says “Keep going daughter.” So i do, and I manage to still conquer the day in my prayer, and in staying committed to stand on the promises that God has concerning my marriage.
See when God commission me to stand for my marriage, and to love my husband more strongly than I ever have before I never thought He expected me to publicly share it. But what I did not grasp at the time of Him telling me this was….
1. There are other marriages out there that are suffering.
2. There is this big divorce rate in Christian marriages.
3. Everyone is deciding to walk away instead of fight for their marriage.
So here I am the poster child for transparency. I know that with the constant rise of abandoned marriages loosing faith to stand God had to use someone to stand in the gap for marriage everywhere.
Scripture on Faith For Your Marriage!
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 5:1-3, 5-11, 13-21 KJV
I am gaining the total victory in God by remaining 100% obedient to the fight for my marriage that He has commissioned me to stand in. If you are facing the same thing in your marriage my advice to you is to build up your faith in God, and be prepared to fight on your needs in prayer, because your main goal is not to allow the enemy to steal what God has given you.
1 Corinthians 7:3 KJV
“Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.”
Silence wrecked our marriage. Unhealed wounds divided us. Unkept vows separated us. Hello! My name is Jereè and I began this BLOG to share my journey as a wife as I start the process of mending the pieces of my broken marriage with God’s help by sharing my life #UnMended. God inspired the name “Mend The Vow” which means repair (something that is broken or damaged) Relationship with God and with our husbands. It is based on the Scripture in 2 Chronicles 24:12. My hope is to encourage other wives in the world who are, have been separated, and want to mend their marriage back together.
